I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a first-generation college student and Latina from an underserved area of San Antonio, Texas. My background has given me a deep understanding of the barriers many people face when trying to access mental health care. I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach and love getting to know my clients’ strengths and abilities beyond their challenges. I work with children, adults, couples, and families, including those on the autism spectrum. I also have extensive experience working with children who are survivors of sexual abuse and violence, as well as clients navigating trauma, eating disorders, substance use, relationship concerns, and family conflict. My approach is collaborative and flexible, drawing from solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, DBT, ACT, and other evidence-based practices, while always centering you as the expert in your own life. My goal is to help clients uncover resilience, navigate challenges, and foster post-traumatic growth. I am committed to creating a supportive and safe space where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged as you take meaningful steps toward healing and personal growth.
