Hi there I’m Kristina, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing tele-health psychotherapy to adults across California. Over my 12-year clinical career, I have refined my skills across mental health agencies, hospitals, government organizations, and non-profit clinics. Style Clients describe me as an exceptional listener and a challenging guide who provides a warm, nurturing environment for growth. A vital part of effective therapy is the relationship we build together, so I practice with a deep commitment to cultural humility, honoring the diverse backgrounds and global upbringings of my clients, a commitment that keeps my practice curious, humble, and grounded. I also pride myself on being deeply approachable and easy to talk to, creating an atmosphere of safety where clients feel comfortable sharing things they have previously hesitated to speak aloud. I honor your pacing completely, ensuring that even the most sensitive or difficult topics are held with the utmost respect, confidentiality, and care. Approach I offer an integrative approach to psychotherapy, synthesizing evidence-based frameworks like CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy with somatic interventions, including yoga and mindfulness. Recognizing that optimal health requires comprehensive support, my practice goes beyond traditional talk therapy by collaborating with primary care physicians, psychiatric providers, and community resources. These holistic tools and wrap-around services are utilized strictly at your discretion, pace, and comfort level. Training To ensure you receive the highest standard of care, I am deeply committed to clinical excellence through continuous learning. I regularly participate in advanced continuing education courses and specialized certifications to stay at the forefront of evidence-based practices and evolving psychological frameworks. By consistently updating my training, I bring the most current, effective, and ethically sound therapeutic interventions to our sessions Above all, I am deeply passionate about this work and dedicated to helping my clients thrive. Therapy is more than just symptom management—it is about reclaiming your vitality, building resilience, and creating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I am honored to walk alongside you on this journey toward lasting healing and personal growth. About Me As a biracial cisgender woman, a first-generation high school and college graduate, and the daughter of an immigrant, my worldview is deeply shaped by the diverse communities I’ve called home. My journey has taken me from Los Angeles, the High Desert, Orange County, and the Central Valley to Oakland and San Francisco, and for the past nine years, I have proudly lived and practiced here in Humboldt County. Outside of my office, I am a toddler mom who restores her own mind and body through yoga, pilates, beach days, and hiking with my family.
