Therapy doesn’t always have to be another place where you feel pressure to fix yourself, be productive, or constantly become a “better” version of you. Sometimes you need practical tools and honest feedback, and sometimes you just need a safe place to vent, celebrate something good, or have someone understand what you’re carrying. I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients, people navigating late-diagnosed neurodivergence, and mental health professionals experiencing burnout. I often support clients with ADHD, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, sleep concerns, and the effects of having a loved one struggle with addiction. As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I also understand how validating-and sometimes complicated—it can feel to finally have language for the way your brain works. My style is laid-back, humorous, accepting, and solution-focused. I use CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, self-reflection, and a humanistic approach, but I don’t believe every approach fits every person. I’ll meet you where you are, help you understand patterns, and gently challenge you when it may be helpful. My background includes outpatient therapy, adolescent PHP/IOP treatment, inpatient psychiatric care, and addiction/detox settings. Those experiences are a big part of why I wanted to provide longer-term therapy: I love getting to see clients move beyond simply stabilizing and begin building confidence, recognizing their own patterns, and using what we discuss in therapy in their everyday lives. More than anything, I hope therapy feels like a place where you have someone genuinely in your corner. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.
