Introduction

Hi, I’m Aaron Aster, MA, LPC, CCATP. I help adults who feel stuck in anxiety, overthinking, and constant pressure find a steadier, calmer way forward. Many of my clients are capable, high-functioning people who look “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally. If your mind feels like it won’t turn off—running through worst-case scenarios, tension, or sudden waves of panic—you’re not alone. My approach is warm, direct, and practical. I use neuroscience-informed CBT and exposure-based strategies (ERP) to help you understand what’s happening in your nervous system and what to do about it. Together, we’ll build skills you can use between sessions to feel more grounded, confident, and in control. For those who desire it, I also integrate Catholic values in a way that is respectful and supportive of your beliefs.
