I work with veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, medical professionals, and their families who are dealing with the stressors that come with high-responsibility, high-impact work. Many of my clients are used to pushing through, handling things on their own, and staying functional — until that approach starts to take a toll. I provide individual and couples therapy using a whole-person approach that looks at how experiences, relationships, mindset, and the body all play a role in how we’re doing. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical. We focus on understanding what’s going on, identifying patterns that may no longer be serving you, and developing realistic ways to move forward. When appropriate, I also offer outdoor “walk and talk” sessions. Some people find it easier to open up when they’re moving, outside, and not sitting face-to-face in an office. The goal is to create a setting that feels more natural and effective for you. Whether you’re dealing with stress, trauma, relationship strain, burnout, or just feeling worn down, therapy doesn’t have to be complicated or uncomfortable to be helpful.
