I am a mental health therapist with 25 years of clinical experience. During that time, I have worked with culturally diverse individuals across all age ranges and settings to address an array of mental health issues. Settings included correctional facilities, hospitals, schools, homes, community mental health agencies, and both solo and group private practice. As an integrative therapist, I blend techniques and theories from different therapeutic models (e.g., Collaborative, CBT, Experiential) to create customized treatment for each client based on their unique needs and goals. I understand that the stigma surrounding mental health conditions and therapy is still very real, and I seek to establish an alliance that will promote a safe, authentic, and nonjudgmental experience. This alliance will provide you with the opportunity to explore your past, relinquish what is no longer serving you, and develop new insight as you consider alternative ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. It would be my honor to walk alongside you in your journey. I obtained my Master of Science in Education in counseling and clinical psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Superior followed by post-graduate work in both. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and board-approved LPCC/LPC Clinical Supervisor in Minnesota. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin and nationally recognized as a Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors.
