I am focused on helping clients build skills to become more able at regulating their emotions and challenging negative thoughts. By building skills along with gaining insight into the patterns of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, we can help create more satisfaction and fulfillment in our life. I believe the brain naturally focuses its power on trying to find solutions to problems, typically focusing on the negative and beating ourselves up about the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that we struggle with. One part of my practice is utilizing mindfulness techniques that can provide insight, build positive thinking, and promote self-compassion.
