It can be difficult to face the painful or confusing parts of life alone. Maybe you’ve tried to open up but still feel misunderstood, disconnected, or unseen. You don’t have to navigate these struggles on your own. Therapy can be a place to feel heard, make sense of your experiences, and find a path toward healing and hope. I’m Aaron Stamper, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA), and I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, compulsive sexual behavior, and relationship challenges. I believe healing happens in relationship. Together, we’ll explore how your past shapes your present, uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful change. With couples, we draw on the relationship itself to rebuild trust and deepen emotional, sexual, and spiritual intimacy. With families, we work toward greater understanding, healthier communication, and stronger connections. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gottman Method, Brainspotting, and principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems. For Christian clients who desire it, I also offer faith-based counseling that incorporates faith into the therapeutic process at your request. Outside the therapy room, I’m a proud dad to a wonderful daughter and husband to my best friend. I am originally from Texas, lived overseas, and now call North Carolina home.
