I am a board-certified psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. I was drawn to psychiatry by the opportunity to understand each person within the broader context of their family, development, health, and life experiences. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized, with an emphasis on helping patients and families feel heard and understood. I have particular experience in treating anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, ADHD, autism, and emotional or behavioral difficulties. I also work with patients whose mental health concerns overlap with chronic medical symptoms, gastrointestinal conditions, sleep difficulties, or other mind-body concerns. I frequently support autistic adults who are seeking psychiatric care that is attentive to their communication style, sensory needs, and individual strengths. My goal is to provide careful diagnostic assessment, practical treatment recommendations, and medication management when appropriate. I work collaboratively with patients, parents, therapists, schools, and other clinicians to develop a treatment plan that is both clinically sound and realistic for daily life.
