Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping you feel like your best self. As a South Asian woman with ADHD, my passion for this work comes from not often seeing myself represented in the mental health field. I understand firsthand the unique challenges of finding a counselor who truly understands you within your cultural context. My mission is to help bridge that gap by providing a safe, compassionate, and culturally affirming space for those in our community who have felt overlooked or excluded from mental health resources due to cultural or linguistic barriers. In my work, I approach each client with respect, empathy, humor, and a strong belief in the collaborative nature of the counseling relationship. While I work with a variety of populations, my specialties include neurodivergence, OCD, couples counseling, eating disorder recovery, and grief therapy. My approach integrates theory and practice, drawing primarily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rogerian person-centered therapy, and Gestalt psychology. I believe that counseling can benefit everyone—and I’m deeply passionate about making mental health care accessible and welcoming to all. I am fluent in Gujarati and Hindi, and can also comfortably provide counseling in Urdu.
