Hi, I'm Abbie. I'm a Louisville native and a graduate of both the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville's School of Education. I began my counseling career in 2008 working with children and families in community mental health, where I developed a strong foundation in supporting resilience and growth. In 2013, I began transitioning into private practice and expanded my work to include individual and couples therapy for adults. My current clinical focus is on stress management, trauma, anxiety, and depression, though I still lend extensive experience in family therapy and behavioral modification approaches, particularly for those struggling with the impact of ADHD. My therapeutic style is grounded in evidence-based methods while also weaving in practical tools - such as grounding skills, resourcing exercises, and calming techniques. I value the act of finding joy and laughter as therapeutic tools.
