Introduction

Abby Rux began practicing as a counselor in 2022, after graduating with her Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling. Prior to her career in counseling, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Family & Consumer Science with a concentration in Dietetics & Nutrition in 2008, which led her to the field of health and nutrition. She collaborates with clients across all age groups, and she possesses experience in multiple areas, but specializes in child and parent relationship therapy, youth play-based therapy, eating disorders, and complex eating behaviors. Abby believes in offering a caring space that allows clients to grow as they process issues that impact daily living through an individualized relationship-based therapeutic process.
