Introduction

Hi I’m Abigail, a therapist/licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Austin, Texas, providing developmentally attuned, trauma-informed therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and parents navigating grief, anxiety and life transitions. I believe therapy doesn't have to be clinical or stiff. It can feel like finally exhaling. I offer a steady, warm, creative, and compassionate space where clients feel safe enough to explore hard feelings and supported enough to grow. I work from the belief that children and teens communicate what they need through play, behavior, and relationship, not just words. My approach integrates child-centered play therapy, relational talk therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and feel more connected to the people who care about them. I also offer EMDR to help process traumatic memories and feel more confident and hopeful about the future. I work with: Children (3+) and teens experiencing anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief, trauma or big emotional shifts A parent trying to understand and support your kid's inner world Young adults figuring out who you are and what you want An adult navigating a season of transition or seeking more emotional freedom from past trauma My How: Warm. Grounded. Intuitive. A little creative. Deeply human. I don't believe you need to be fixed. I believe in your innate wholeness and your ability to lead a meaningful life. I know deeply how transformative it is to have a space to be heard, to learn how to care for & embrace who you are, and to have someone in your corner as you ask tough questions and walk gently through uncertainty.
