Introduction

I believe therapy works best when you are able to show up as your authentic self and know that every part of who you are is welcome in the room. Counseling is a collaborative process, and my approach is flexible and individualized because no two people bring the same experiences, identities, relationships, or needs into therapy. I draw from client-centered, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and relational-cultural approaches to help clients better understand the patterns influencing their lives, develop practical skills, and explore new ways of relating to themselves and others. I am a gender-affirming clinician who especially enjoys working with LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and people navigating the effects of trauma. I recognize how deeply our identities, experiences, relationships, and environments can shape the way we understand ourselves and move through the world. My role is not to define your experience for you, but to respect what you bring into the counseling process and help you deepen your understanding of yourself, strengthen your connections, and feel more empowered in the choices you make for your life. I value compassion, authenticity, and a counseling relationship free from judgment. Whether you are processing trauma, navigating relationships, exploring your identity, or trying to understand why you feel stuck, our work can make room for both reflection and practical change. Sometimes that means examining long-standing patterns or difficult experiences, and other times it means building skills that help you manage what is happening right now. Wherever the work takes us, I believe therapy should remain responsive to who you are and what you need from it. Outside of my professional roles, I am a proud dog mom and aquarium enthusiast. I enjoy exploring everything Colorado Springs has to offer, both indoors and out. If I am not outside adventuring with my pups, you will probably find me curled up under a cozy blanket with a book in my hands. I appreciate both adventure and quiet moments, and usually find room in my life for a little of each. You do not need to become someone else to benefit from therapy. My hope is to help you better understand and trust who you already are while creating space for whatever comes next.
