I’m the therapist for you if you're navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and women's issues. I work with individuals and couples! Are you craving a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment? A space where you and your relationships can actually breathe and begin to heal? That’s the kind of space I seek create in therapy. I am here to support you as you navigate the ups and downs and all the messy in-betweens of life. In our sessions we'll collaboratively work together to help you gain greater self-insight and identify supportive changes to help you live the life you want. Whether you’re processing the weight of past experiences, moving through conflict with your partner, or just feeling stuck, I’ll meet you with compassion and curiosity as we heal the hard stuff together. I integrate techniques from several modalities and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps people heal from trauma by reprocessing painful memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps individuals stop the struggle and start living a life that is deeply meaningful. When working with couples I utilize techniques from Emotion Focused Therapy as well as Gottman. These methods helps partners communicate more effectively, deepen their connection, and break unhealthy cycles. In our work, you can expect me to bring both heart and expertise. My goal is for you to feel truly seen and understood and to walk away with tools that empower you toward growth, peace, and stronger connections. Healing takes courage, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you take those steps. Some words that inspire me: "The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination." - Carl Rogers Don't Hesitate by Mary Oliver If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still, life has some possibility left. Perhaps this is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happens better than all the riches or power in the world. It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins. Anyway, that’s often the case. Anyway, whatever it is, don’t be afraid of its plenty. Joy is not made to be a crumb.
