As a therapist, my first priority is helping you find ways to reduce overall distress. I believe that functionality is the foundation to building long-term stability. Building practical skills based around the way your brain works helps create a sustainable, strengths-based foundation for growth. Managing daily life can often mean ignoring messages your brain and body are sending. When getting through the day is a struggle, any bump can be devastating. Individual therapy is time and space for you pause and get curious about what might make your everyday functionality a little bit easier. ADHD/ Autism/ Neurodivergence My work with neurodivergent clients focuses on both processing the grief and anger that can come with diagnosis, and the practical application of tools and information that can help decrease distress resulting from trying to fit into a neurotypical world. Perinatal Mental Health The perinatal period, from family planning through early parenthood, is a stage of immense change in identity, relationships, and functionality. This time can be joyful and exhilarating, and it can be scary, traumatic, and so hard. Supporting people in this moment is a passion of mine and why I became perinatal mental health certified (PMH-C). Thinking about, becoming, and being a parent is complex and lifelong. I want to help you show up for yourself and your family as the person you want to be.
