Psychologist Adabel Lee, PhD LLC
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, ADD/ADHD, Adjustment Disorder,

Introduction

I am a licensed psychologist who works with both adolescents and adults. I provide individual therapy for adolescents (ages 14 and up), individual therapy for adults, as well as parenting consultation and support. I provide a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental space, prioritizing open communication, trust, and transparency to build a strong therapeutic relationship. My approach is gentle, yet direct, in assisting clients to clarify goals, cultivate self-awareness, practice new skills, and make intentional decisions. My goal is to support you in navigating challenges with resilience and in a way that aligns with your values and authentic self. My practice integrates evidence-based treatments, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to facilitate positive shifts in thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and communication patterns. A significant aspect of my work also involves cultivating awareness of somatic cues to help clients connect with their body's wisdom. I am deeply committed to practicing from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing the impact of past experiences and integrating this understanding into our therapeutic work. My practice is both neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ affirming. I seek to create a safe and validating space for all. I believe in celebrating the unique strengths and individuality of each person, and am committed to providing culturally sensitive and affirming care.
