Introduction

I am a conditionally licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC-C) living and working in New Gloucester, Maine. I specialize in couples counseling, using Relational Life Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion to help partners reconnect and communicate more effectively. I also work with individuals to help them navigate external stressors and challenges, harness their inherent strengths, and build the skills needed to make the change they envision for their lives. I have a Master in Science in Counseling from the University of Southern Maine and an RLT Relational Coach certification from the Relational Life Institute. I came to counseling as a second career after 10 years as a classroom teacher at the high school level. Like teaching, counseling allows me the privilege of working with individuals to support and guide them in their personal and relational growth.
