I specialize in trauma treatment, helping individuals heal from trauma's impact and symptoms. I believe everyone can progress toward their goals with proper support and find joy in helping others connect with their inner strength. I love to help people leave the past in the past and heal from traumatic experiences and regain a sense of freedom and hope in their life. A bit about my approach to therapy I use evidence based trauma treatments that have been researched and found effective in treating trauma, as well as various other types of therapy as appropriate. These include: Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a lens to understand challenges and barriers to health, and both IFS and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as ways to process barriers to health and healing. Other types of therapy I am trained in include motivational interviewing, Adlerian, Narrative, Gestalt, Solution focused, Relational, Strengths-based, attachment focused, and somatic therapy.
