Introduction

Hi, I’m Addie Stipp, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the therapist behind Hot Mess Healing, my fully telehealth practice for teens and adults who feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or stuck in survival mode. I’ve been a therapist since 2018 and am trained in EMDR, trauma-informed care, and practical skills-based approaches that help clients feel more grounded and capable in their everyday lives. I specialize in trauma/PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, boundaries, communication, and life transitions. I’m neurodivergent myself, LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally aware, and use a down-to-earth, conversational style, especially for people who haven’t felt connected to more traditional therapy. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can show up as you are, explore what’s underneath your patterns, and build the confidence and coping skills needed to move toward the life you want, without needing to be “perfect” in the process.
