I approach therapy as a supportive and collaborative process where I focus on helping clients understand themselves more clearly and develop practical tools for change. I use cognitive-behavioral strategies to explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another, while also integrating a psychodynamic perspective to identify deeper patterns shaped by earlier life experiences that continue to affect present-day reactions and relationships. Together, we look at recurring emotional themes, self-beliefs, and coping strategies, including patterns that may operate outside of conscious awareness. I help clients translate insight into action by building skills for emotional and nervous system regulation, boundary-setting, and effective communication. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel safe to explore difficult experiences, gain self-understanding, and develop greater confidence, self-compassion, and agency in their lives.
