Hello, I’m Adriana Rodriguez-Irizarry (She/Her/Hers), a bilingual (English & Spanish) Licensed Social Worker and psychotherapist at Reconnect Psychotherapy PLLC. With over six years of experience in mental health, I have had the privilege of working under the supervision of Dr. Pablo Pagán-Rivera. I hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Albizu University in Puerto Rico and a Master of Social Work from Northern Kentucky University. My background in Immigration and Refugee Services has helped me develop a compassionate, well-rounded approach to care. I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive, trauma-informed support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in working with women, immigrants, young adults, and members of the Latinx/Hispanic and LGBTQIA+ communities. I support clients in navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, acculturation stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. In therapy, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, complemented by mindfulness and a humanistic perspective. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build emotional regulation skills, and cultivate resilience. My goal is to help you develop self-awareness, embrace your strengths, and find meaningful ways to thrive. If you’re looking for a supportive, affirming therapeutic relationship that honors your individual and cultural experiences, I’m here to walk that path with you.
