Adriana has been a counselor in Texas since 2015. Therapy is a collaborative relationship between the counselor and the client to find the best healing approach for the individual. She became a yoga instructor in 2012, after her last military deployment to continue looking for a way to nurture her own growth and healing. It helped her work through trauma in the body that she didn’t realize she was still carrying. She decided to leave military service to get her graduate degree in counseling psychology with a specialty in forensic psychology. Adriana believes that individuals can naturally let their bodies and minds move towards healing in life and therapy can help. Through yoga, EMDR, somatic approaches, color and talk therapy; she is able to continue incorporating that holistic perspective to healing the past so we can live in the present.
