Introduction

Dr. Adrianna Chaparro, PsyD, is a Credentialed School Psychologist and Licensed Educational Psychologist with extensive experience providing comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations. She works with individuals across the lifespan, including those in early childhood, school age, adolescence, and adulthood. Her experience across both school-based and clinical settings provides a broad understanding of how developmental, learning, behavioral, and emotional differences present across environments. Dr. Chaparro specializes in the assessment and differential diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), intellectual and developmental disabilities, and social-emotional concerns such as anxiety and depression. She has particular expertise in identifying late-diagnosed and more subtle presentations of autism and ADHD, including individuals who have developed strong compensatory strategies or masking behaviors that may have delayed recognition of their neurodevelopmental differences. Dr. Chaparro also has extensive experience with differential diagnosis, carefully evaluating overlapping symptoms to distinguish between conditions that can present similarly or co-occur, ensuring diagnostic clarity and individualized recommendations. Dr. Chaparro takes a neurodiversity-affirming and culturally responsive approach to assessment. She is committed to helping individuals and families better understand their unique strengths, challenges, and support needs through comprehensive evaluations that promote clarity, self- understanding, and meaningful recommendations for home, school, work, and everyday life.
