Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice, specializing in working with individuals who experience thoughts of suicide and self-harm behaviors. My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered principles, focusing on building upon your inherent strengths to empower and educate you on how to heal from your pain. My passion lies in leading and co-facilitating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups. I help clients learn essential skills to manage their emotions and behaviors, ultimately supporting them in creating a life worth living. This commitment extends to family work, where I lead groups for parents and teenagers, teaching DBT skills to promote usage in both parties and foster a "change-ready environment" for lasting family growth. In addition to traditional methods, my background in the creative and performing arts allows me to integrate expressive arts techniques, including movement and dance, to help you find profound healing in your therapeutic journey. I have diverse experience working with individuals of all ages, races, and diagnoses across various settings, from crisis care/residential facilities and psychiatric units to crisis/suicide prevention hotlines. A unique aspect of my practice is the integration of mental health and movement. I am a Certified Personal Trainer with a focus in Pilates and formal training in Somatic Experiencing. I run a dedicated fitness facility where I offer individual and group therapy, both virtually and in-person, that combines Pilates and other forms of movement. This allows clients to process trauma and mental health experiences in a deeply unique and embodied way.
