Introduction

Welcome to An Ear to Hear Now. My name is Adrienne Washington and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. I have been in the Mental Health field for over 5 years and I love what I do. I began with a concentration on Child Development but had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations including substance abuse, child and family, and couples. I am so glad you have taken this step in your mental health journey. I truly understand how much it takes to get here, so give yourself a round of applause for making it this far. I have worked with individuals who have struggled with anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, depressive disorders, grief, past traumas, and issues with self-esteem/self-image. I have had the pleasure of working with both adults and youth ages 5 and older. Currently I am accepting virtual appointments only with in-person sessions coming soon. In therapy, I will create a space where you will feel free to be you and explore the thoughts and emotions you have been experiencing. My therapeutic approach includes but are not limited to goal-oriented approach as well as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach which highlights the significance of your thoughts and how they impact your behavior. I am excited to join you on your journey to self-discovery and healing.
