Life comes with all kinds of experiences, from exciting milestones and new beginnings to grief, loss, anxiety, and unexpected challenges. For children and teens, making sense of these experiences can sometimes feel overwhelming. Having a safe space to talk, feel understood, and learn how to navigate life’s ups and downs can make a meaningful difference. My passion for this work is shaped in part by my own experiences with parental loss, adoption, and navigating life’s challenges. These experiences have influenced how I understand grief, identity, and the many ways life shapes who we are. My aspiration and focus as a therapist is to be a collaborative partner in one's journey of life. As a therapist, I strive to create a space where children and teens feel comfortable being themselves. I strive to bring a calm and understanding presence to sessions, while making room for playfulness and creativity. Therapy doesn’t always have to feel serious or intimidating. Sometimes, connection happens through conversation, play, or simply having someone who listens without judgment. I work with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma-related concerns, adoptee experiences, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), neurodivergence, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I strive to meet each client where they are, helping them better understand their emotions, build coping skills, and develop confidence.
