I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in women’s mental health across the reproductive lifespan. I want to understand what’s actually going on—not just what diagnosis fits best. I work with women experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PMDD, pregnancy and postpartum mental health concerns, and the emotional and cognitive changes that can come with perimenopause and menopause. I’m especially interested in the ways hormones, sleep, stress, physical health, identity, and major life transitions can affect mental health—because sometimes there is a lot more going on than “you’re anxious.” My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and queer-friendly. I welcome patients of all sexual orientations and gender identities, and I understand that family, faith, community, and cultural expectations can sometimes add another complicated layer to mental health. My goal is for you to feel heard, understand what may actually be contributing to how you feel, and leave with a clear treatment plan that makes sense for you. I believe psychiatric care should be evidence-based and thoughtful, but it should also feel human. I look forward to meeting you! -Aimee (she/her)
