Introduction

Life can take you through unexpected twists and turns. It can be helpful to have a skilled co-pilot by your side. With over 15 years of clinical experience, I bring a grounded, responsive, and playful presence to our work. Therapy is a precious opportunity to slow down, notice what's happening in the present moment, and explore your inner landscape. I can help you tap into your own wisdom, deepen your connection with yourself and others, and discover new possibilities for living with greater choice and vitality. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, personal growth, and life transitions. My approach is holistic, relational, and somatic (mind-body), informed by attachment theory and mindfulness-based inquiry. I have a master’s degree in Somatic Psychology and extensive training in Hakomi, a mindfulness-based therapy, with additional trauma and couples training. My background in massage therapy, dance, and yoga also shapes my work. I am available for telehealth psychotherapy in California and Oregon. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to explore the possibility of working together, or you're welcome to request an initial therapy session if you're ready to dive in. Feel free to visit my website at www.aimeepomerleaumft.com to learn more about how I work.
