Introduction

At some point in our lives, it is not uncommon to find ourselves struggling with the unexpected life situations brought on by medical conditions, disability, or the demands of work, family, health and life. I am specialized in the treatment of emotional adjustment difficulties brought on by neurological conditions and disability, caregiving demands, work-life balance, and demanding academic and professional careers. Specifically, I work with ordinary people attempting to cope with demanding and the oftentimes unexpected twists and turns of life. I have over 20 years of experience in medical psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy incorporating aspects of mindfulness, stress management, existential therapy, health promotion, strengths based therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. My style is supportive and flexible yet logical and practical. I work with the individual's strengths and aspirations to tailor an approach to resolve challenges, ease stress, and improve overall health, well-being and life satisfaction. Throughout my career, I continue to be inspired by people who have managed a variety of hardships and who have later established a strong sense of life meaning. I welcome you!
