Introduction

Whether you're exploring therapy options out of curiosity, craving growth, or seeking support, you're welcome here. This is a place to explore who you are, how you connect with others, and the experiences which have landed you in this moment. Chances are, with everything going on right now, you're carrying something a little heavy, and maybe you’re ready to explore what it might feel like to work things out. We are beautifully complex beings, shaped by our histories, our bodies, and the intricate ripples of relationships which have made us who we are. Your unique complexity deserves to be met with curiosity, compassion, and understanding. I'm glad you're here. My work is deeply relational and integrative, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, somatic understanding, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in appropriate doses, existentialism, and a humanistic focus. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all technique, I take time to truly understand you — your history, your somatics, your relationships, and the world you move through — via a thorough biopsychosocial exploration at the start of our work together. This foundation allows us to build a therapeutic approach which actually fits your life. From that foundation, the real work begins. What I do best is slower, more integrative work — the kind where we gently pull back the layers, trace the roots of what's incongruent for you, and create space for something to genuinely shift, not just on the surface, but in ways that really matter. I work with individuals, couples/throuples/unlabeled attachments, and families. Intimate relationships are perhaps the most beautiful and the most challenging terrain we navigate as human beings. Whether you're feeling disconnected, caught in painful communication patterns, or simply wanting to understand each other more deeply, relational work offers a space to truly hear one another. If you're someone who wants to understand yourself or your relationship and you're open to a thoughtful, unhurried process, we may be a good fit. I'd love to hear your story, what brings you here, and how you'd like to change. Reach out when the time is right. I'm a California Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, #161176 and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #21801. I am employed by Ritchey Clinical Services and supervised by Michael Ritchey, DSW, LCSW #102476.
