Hi, I'm Alanna, LMHC (DIYer, crafter, plant person, sunset admirer, music enthusiast, and animal lover.) I truly enjoy my work as a therapist and feel grateful to walk alongside people as they navigate challenges, changes, and growth. I believe that healing happens when you feel seen, safe, and free to be your authentic self. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to hold back, where you can explore openly, without judgment. I’m passionate about building strong relationships with my clients, and I value the trust it takes to begin therapy. I’m always learning, reflecting, and growing so that I can continue to show up fully, not only for myself, but for the people I work with. My path to becoming a therapist started in education. I worked as a school counselor for six years before realizing I wanted to engage in deeper, longer-term work with individuals. While counseling students, I also worked in a community mental health setting for two years, while attaining full licensure in Florida. I received my bachelor’s degree in Anthropology in 2015 and my master’s degree in Counselor Education in 2018. I’ve always been fascinated by people, culture, and science, and this curiosity continues to inform my work. Over the past four years, I've provided individual therapy to teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to have all the answers before starting therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you better understand yourself, and support you in building a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentic.
