Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, ADD/ADHD, Trauma, Bipolar Disorder,

Introduction

I have experience supporting clients through life stressors such as anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, LGBTQ+ related issues, adjustments and transitions, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. I currently work with teens, adults, and couples and particularly enjoy working with teens and young adults at our Gig Harbor location. I appreciate clients who are committed to moving forward in pursuit of their therapeutic goals. I view the therapist's role as a facilitator in a client's journey towards personal growth that empowers them to access the wisdom and strength already within them. I prioritize authenticity, empathy, and meeting the client where they are at; I believe that every person has the capacity to grow and make positive change. I operate from a humanistic framework and have an integrative approach to therapy. I often use mindfulness and compassion-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, somatic therapy, and ecotherapy, tailoring my approach to the unique needs of each client.
