I am a California-licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 34871) providing in-person and telehealth services to individuals throughout California. When clinically appropriate, I also offer home-based and real-world sessions to help patients practice therapeutic skills in their everyday environments. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a strong emphasis on collaboration and developing individualized treatment plans. I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD and anxiety disorders, integrating principles and techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and cognitive restructuring. I also work with parents using the SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) approach. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, OCD-related disorders (including hoarding disorder), PTSD, and depression. I strongly believe that therapy extends beyond the individual. Whenever clinically appropriate, I actively involve family members, partners, and other important people in patients' lives. This may include providing psychoeducation, teaching them how to respond to reassurance-seeking behaviors and reduce family accommodation, and involving them in exposure exercises when beneficial.
