I am a lover of philosophy and a first-generation immigrant, bringing a holistic perspective to understanding the full spectrum of the human experience. My background enables me to understand how culture, identity, emotions, and personal history intersect—shaping the way we think, behave, and navigate the world. Through my work in counseling, I have helped clients deepen their self-awareness, break unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with the parts of themselves yearning for healing. I draw from my education, clinical training, and real-world experience to help people make sense of their stories and move toward meaningful, lasting change. My therapeutic approach integrates Psychodynamic Theory, Internal Family Systems, Existential counseling, and Somatic interventions. In our work together, we explore your past patterns, present reactions, and the logic and emotion behind your internal conflicts. I often ask questions like, “What is this behavior doing here?” or “How is this part of you trying to help—and how might it be keeping you stuck?” This process creates a compassionate dialogue with the different “shades” of yourself, helping you understand both the protective and restrictive parts that shape your identity. My goal is to help you feel more grounded in who you are, more connected to your inner world, and more empowered to shape the identity and life you want—whether you’re navigating young adulthood, immigration, or the complex lifelong journey of self-discovery. Se habla español. Para preguntas, por favor, agendar una consulta de cortesía para hablar de nuestro posible trabajo juntos.
