Introduction

Hello, and welcome. I’m glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you have been trying to manage everything on your own. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, parent-related challenges, relationship concerns, career or college stress, and major life transitions. As a bilingual, first-generation Latina therapist, I understand how culture, family, identity, and expectations can shape our experiences and influence the way we approach healing. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I draw from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused approaches, tailoring our work to your needs and goals. Together, we can explore patterns, build emotional awareness, strengthen communication and boundaries, and develop coping tools that fit your everyday life. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and you will not be judged or rushed. We will move at a pace that feels manageable while building on your strengths and working toward meaningful, lasting change. Services are available in English and Spanish. Alejandra Tovar Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor California LPCC #23637
