Hi, I’m Alex! I love being a companion on people’s journeys and look forward to helping you connect with your best, truest self. I believe you already hold the wisdom you need, I’m just here to walk beside you as a curious, compassionate guide while you explore, heal, and grow. When we approach our inner world with curiosity and kindness, even the most tender parts of us can begin to feel safe enough to heal. Before becoming a counselor, I worked in social justice organizing and advocacy, work that continues to shape how I see people, systems, and resiliency. After graduation, I spent several years in community mental health, supporting folks with all kinds of stories and challenges. When I’m off the clock, I love curling up with a good book, writing something creative, or baking just for fun and for my friends. Outside, I’m happiest paddleboarding, bird watching, hiking, or simply being in the quiet and awe of nature. My cat runs the household and is the most important person in my life.
