Introduction

I'm the Clinical Director of Mindful Life Counseling with over 10 years of experience. I work with people who want to build a stronger sense of self and unlearn victim narratives. I help foster more self-love, compassion, and unapologetic confidence. The people I work with are recovering people-pleasers, are intellectually self-aware but need help creating lasting change, adult children of immigrants, people with emotionally immature parents, people who struggle with love and dating, and/or those healing from abuse. My clients will learn to process their unresolved trauma. I bring directness to my work and gentle, patient, and non-judgmental confrontation to challenge you and hold you accountable to your goals. I specialize in trauma recovery, anxiety, and identity work—including gender identity, racial identity, and LGBTQIA+ affirmation—and I'm deeply committed to helping survivors of abuse and sexual trauma. My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods like Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), combined with somatic and breathwork practices that help you reconnect with your body and nervous system. I offer telehealth sessions and accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. I'm currently accepting new clients and would welcome the chance to work with you.
