There is no wrong reason to seek therapy, what’s important is that you’re here. While I have experience working with folks on a variety of issues, I have developed a particular passion for working with those who are processing trauma, LGBTQIA+ related issues, neurodivergence, anxiety, and life transitions particularly regarding college. No matter the topic, I understand the need for a blend of a listening ear with guiding questions to help you explore your inner self, process your life experiences, and develop the right coping skills for you. I use an eclectic approach that includes aspects of strengths-based talk therapy, IFS (parts work), and mindfulness. As a firm believer that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, I also incorporate humor, metaphors, imagery, and affirmations dependent on what resonates most with you and suits your needs. As a queer person, I know how difficult safe spaces can be to find, so I prioritize creating a safe space for you to feel comfortable to process life’s difficulties. I am grateful to potentially have the honor of hearing your story and walking alongside you for a part of your journey. If working together sounds like a good fit, please reach out!
