Hi, I’m Alex, a Master of Social Work student at Arizona State University practicing under the supervision of a licensed LCSW. I’ve often found myself questioning the unhealthy areas of my life—from my first career in sales to relationships that no longer served me. Life throws challenges our way, and we can’t always face them alone. I had to pivot and ask for help—I’m glad you’re doing the same. I’m passionate about helping young people, especially children and teens. My work in schools (K–5) and summer camps (ages 13–17) has helped me support individuals navigating depression, anxiety, anger, coping skills, and mindfulness. Over the past five years, I’ve used solution-focused, strength-based, and emotion-regulation practices to guide those I work with. My own growth started in my teens—helping young people discover their best selves deeply resonates with me. In therapy, we’ll peel back layers and create space for honesty, emotion, and authentic connection. Today’s world often discourages real connection, encouraging us to live behind screens. Therapy is a chance to be your true self. Outside of work and school, I enjoy playing hockey, watching sports, gaming, and cooking with loved ones. I seek balance so I can keep showing up for those who need me—including you. Come as you are—I’ll meet you there.
