Introduction

My mission is to provide exceptional care for those with common and complex mental health struggles. In addition to overall psychiatric health, I specialize in perinatal mood disorders (including disorders in men and women) and substance use disorders. My background in psychiatry started in 2002 as a mental health worker in a state facility. My bedside experience as a Labor and Delivery, where I worked for over 8 years prior, helped me obtain my master's degree as a PMHNP-BC. With my background and focus on women's health, I prefer a functional, holistic approach that gets to the root cause without just treating symptoms. My goal is to provide compassionate care that is affordable and accessible to all. I strive to get to the root cause of the issues at hand and help to build a strong foundation that will allow you to obtain skills and coping mechanisms to thrive. When working with me, you are never alone in your journey. Please do not struggle in silence due to fear of judgment or based on mental health stigmas. Life does not have to be so heavy. I am here to lighten your load.
