Introduction

Hi, I’m Alley! I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and certified inclusive eating disorder specialist who is deeply passionate about helping others build their resilience, engage in self-exploration, and find healing. I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental space for individual, couples, and family therapy. My work focuses on a variety of issues including: eating disorders, body dysmorphia, trauma, anxiety, depression, fear/phobias, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder, mood disorders, addiction, substance use, personality disorders, ADHD, defiant behaviors, difficult life transitions, and relationship troubles. I believe that at the core of a productive therapeutic relationship is compassion, support, and honesty. I work to provide a safe space to explore your lived experiences and emotions, while helping to challenge unhealthy or unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to help promote change. I utilize a mainly person centered, trauma-informed approach with the integration of evidence based practices such as CBT, DBT, RO-DBT, ACT, and exposure therapy. Additionally, I believe it is vital to view my clients holistically, taking into account a variety of personal factors, systemic influences, and lived experiences. Together we will work to identify goals tailored to your needs, learn practical tools to help you find relief from whatever you feel may be holding you back, and foster resilience in who you are.
