Hello! My name is Alexandra. I go by Alex (she/her). I am a prelicensed therapist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts dedicated to a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, emotions, and spirit as interconnected elements of well-being. I believe in meeting clients where they are and honoring their role as the experts of their own lives. I enjoy working with older adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, work-life balance concerns, and the transition to parenthood. I am especially passionate about supporting women along with new and expecting parents. I enjoy helping clients reconnect with their strengths, deepen their self-understanding, and make choices that align with their values and needs. I work to foster a compassionate, judgment-free environment where clients can safely explore their experiences, reflect on patterns, and move toward meaningful change. Clients often appreciate my humanistic, collaborative approach and leave sessions feeling a little lighter, clearer, and more empowered. My approach integrates person-centered, mindfulness-based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed techniques while emphasizing the mind-body connection. As a lifelong dancer and dance teacher, I incorporate creativity and a unique perspective to my practice. My goal is to guide clients toward greater harmony and empower them to reclaim their sense of wholeness, well-being and power.
