Hi, I’m Alex — a Florida native and therapist who supports teens and young adults through life’s ups, downs, and the “I just feel stuck” moments. As a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in Florida, I focus on anxiety disorders, especially obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I work with clients dealing with chronic worry, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, panic, overthinking, and that exhausting mental loop of feeling stuck. As someone who personally understands OCD, I know how isolating anxiety can feel — and how important it is to have support from someone who truly gets it. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as clients navigating depression, stress, identity questions, and major life transitions. My approach is person-centered, warm, and grounded in real connection. I strive to create a relaxed, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on helping things feel more manageable in everyday life. Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me with my husband and son, trying new restaurants, staying active, or spending time at the pool. I’m also involved in my local autism community and volunteer with A Kid’s Place, both of which are deeply meaningful to me. If you’re looking for a space where you can show up as you are — mess, humor, overthinking and all — I’d love to connect.
