Introduction

Hi, I’m Ali (she/they) — a somatic and relational therapist who believes healing isn’t about striving to be “better.” It’s about coming home to the truth of who you already are—body, mind, and self. If you've ever felt like you're too much, not enough, or like you have to work just to be loved or accepted, you’re not alone. Maybe you’ve spent years trying to make yourself smaller—physically or emotionally. Maybe the world has taught you that your body is a problem to solve. Therapy can be a space to unlearn all of that. A space to soften back into your body—not as an object to be fixed, but as a wise and worthy part of who you are. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and intentionally slow. I draw from somatic therapy, relational healing, and trauma-informed care—attuning to both what’s held in your body and what’s shaped by your lived experience. Together, we’ll: * Reconnect with your body’s signals, limits, and wisdom * Explore how body image, fatness, or chronic shame have impacted your sense of self * Unpack the messages you’ve received around identity, worth, and belonging * Understand how early relationships shaped how you relate to yourself and others You don’t need to push through. We’ll move at the pace of your nervous system, honoring your boundaries every step of the way. You get to take up space here. I work with adults navigating trauma, identity, body image, and relationships. I hold space for LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent folks, fat and body-diverse clients, and anyone who has felt othered, disconnected, or dismissed—especially by systems meant to help. Whether you’re healing from a rupture, unlearning internalized shame, or simply longing for a deeper sense of self-trust, you are welcome in this work exactly as you are.
