I believe people are far more capable than they often give themselves credit for. My role is to help you better understand yourself, recognize the patterns that have been keeping you stuck, and reconnect with the version of yourself that already knows what matters. To me, insight is only the beginning. Understanding why you think, feel, or behave a certain way can be incredibly meaningful, but insight alone rarely creates lasting change. Real transformation happens when we take what we learn about ourselves and intentionally begin practicing new ways of thinking, responding, communicating, and living in our everyday lives. My goal is to help you bridge that gap. Together, we'll move beyond reflection and into action by developing practical strategies, experimenting with new patterns, and creating a life that feels more aligned with your values, relationships, and goals. Therapy with me is active, collaborative, and honest. I ask questions that help people see themselves and their relationships from new perspectives, but I also believe therapy should lead to meaningful action outside the therapy room. We'll celebrate your strengths, challenge the beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you, and work together to create sustainable change that continues long after our sessions end. While our work often involves difficult conversations, I also believe healing and laughter can exist in the same room. Sometimes humor helps us find perspective, reduce shame, and remember that growth doesn't always have to feel heavy. As a neurodivergent therapist and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand how important it is to feel genuinely seen, accepted, and safe enough to show up as your authentic self. I enjoy working with LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families, as well as neurodivergent adolescents and adults navigating ADHD, autism, masking, burnout, relationships, identity, or simply trying to better understand how their brains work. I strive to create a space where every client feels respected, valued, and empowered to build a life that works with who they are, not against them. My work integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, family systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies, Schema Therapy, and exploration of the beliefs, experiences, and relationship patterns that shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world. Every person is different, so therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. I tailor my approach to your goals, strengths, and unique circumstances to support meaningful, lasting progress. I especially enjoy working with: -Couples seeking deeper connection, healthier communication, and greater intimacy. -Adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, or major life transitions. -High-achieving professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and helpers who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected despite appearing successful. -LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. -Neurodivergent adolescents and adults. -Individuals exploring identity, purpose, spirituality, or redefining what a meaningful life looks like. -Parents who want to strengthen their relationships with their children while breaking unhealthy generational patterns. My journey into this work began as a Music Therapist in 2006. Working with children, teens, adults, and families through music taught me something I still believe today: healing doesn't happen through insight alone. It happens through experience, connection, and practicing new ways of relating to ourselves and others. Although my work now centers on psychotherapy, that foundation continues to shape everything I do. I have specialized in Marriage and Family Therapy since 2012 and have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California LMFT #99158) since 2017. Over nearly two decades in the mental health field, I've had the privilege of helping children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges while building healthier relationships and more fulfilling lives. Beyond the therapy room, I'm a partner, parent, educator, mentor, and founder of Creative Connections Individual & Family Therapy. Those roles continue to challenge and shape me every day, reminding me that growth is rarely linear and that our strongest relationships are built through curiosity, authenticity, repair, and connection. Whether you're navigating a difficult season, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply ready to build a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned with your values, I'd be honored to walk alongside you. Lasting change is possible, and you don't have to figure it out alone.
