Introduction

You can handle a lot. You get things done, anticipate everyone’s needs, and make it look easier than it feels. Even when you’re resting, you’re thinking about what you should be doing. A short text has you wondering if someone’s upset. You say “no worries” when there are, in fact, several worries. I specialize in therapy for complex trauma, anxiety, and perfectionism in high-achievers and parents. You don’t have to call your past “trauma” to explore how it affects you now. Together, we’ll work toward less second-guessing, boundaries without so much guilt, and feeling good enough without constantly proving it. I’m an LCSW helping adults make sense of how past experiences shape anxiety, people-pleasing, and the pressure to get everything right. Using EMDR, IFS-informed parts work, and psychodynamic therapy, we’ll explore what keeps these patterns going and work toward feeling calmer, trusting yourself, and having more room for your own needs. You don’t need a perfectly organized explanation of what’s wrong. You can show up overwhelmed, unsure, or tired of being “fine.” My style is warm, direct, and human, with room for humor. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what you’re looking for and whether we’re a good fit.
