I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I have a passion for helping both children and adults overcome mental health challenges. I have worked extensively with children and families, especially in play therapy and other therapeutic techniques designed for younger clients. My work also extends to helping adults navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. My goal is to create a supportive, safe environment for healing and growth, allowing my clients to discover their inner strength and resilience. With children, I utilize play therapy and integrate the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model with mindfulness. For adults, I provide strategies for managing depression, anxiety, and trauma using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, and mood management strategies. My goal is to support my clients in developing the emotional tools they need to face life’s challenges and thrive. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida several years ago. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling back to Puerto Rico, and relaxing at the beach. In my free time, I love unwinding with my loved ones and finding joy in simple moments.
