Introduction

Graduated summa cum laude with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and a B.S. in Psychology from Texas State University. Life can be overwhelming, and I want to help. I'm here to provide you support and guidance while we figure out how to get some peace back into your life. I foster a safe and unbiased environment so my clients can feel at ease to be their true, genuine selves. I mostly work with adult individuals, and some older adolescents (16+). I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and bipolar disorder. My goal as a therapist is to work together with my clients as we break down issues into smaller parts, learn and recognize new things about themselves and their world, and navigate what’s best for their needs. I acknowledge everyone as a unique individual, and the expert of their own story. Recognizing this, my therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to fit my clients' needs in the present moment. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, solution focused therapy, and am currently in the processes of getting trained in exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP). I've always had a genuine passion to help people however I can, so being here to support others mentally and emotionally is truly a dream come true. We are a team, and sessions are always done at the client’s pace. I always attend sessions with an open mind, heart, and ears, and do my best to make sure you feel at ease during our time together.
