Hi there! My name is Alexis Abbott and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I specialize in working with adults and military-connected individuals, with a primary focus on trauma, anxiety, and navigating life’s major complexities. Drawing from experience in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings, as well as my lived experience as the partner of a Veteran, I am passionate about providing a compassionate, down-to-earth space where you feel genuinely seen and supported. Life can feel heavy and overwhelming at times, and seeking therapy is a courageous step. My goal is to honor that courage by offering a safe, collaborative environment to help you process deep-seated challenges and find clarity. As a strengths-based, humanistic therapist, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I integrate alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We will tailor our work to what matters most to you, weaving in practical skills and resources to empower you to build resilience, heal, and move forward with confidence.
